How Aylko plans to license software, handle upgrades and explain ongoing services with clear ownership and transparent costs.
Software licences purchased once
Where an Aylko product is sold for a single payment, the intention is that the customer can continue using the purchased version without a compulsory recurring Aylko licence fee, subject to the final licence terms and any external infrastructure required by the chosen deployment.
Upgrades
A future major version, expanded product or optional upgrade may be sold separately. Purchasing an existing version does not automatically include every future product or feature release unless expressly stated.
External services
Aylko software may connect to external platforms or infrastructure. Those providers can charge their own fees and operate under their own terms. An Aylko licence purchased once does not remove charges imposed by third parties.
Security and customer responsibility
Aylko aims to provide secure defaults and reasonable product safeguards. Customers remain responsible for their own devices, accounts, passwords, staff access, local security configuration, backups and external systems after deployment, except where a separate managed service expressly covers those responsibilities.
Commercial licence
The final software licence will define permitted users, installations, transfer rights, support boundaries, warranty limitations, prohibited redistribution and any obligations specific to each deployment before customers are asked to purchase.
