Built because running a small business already costs enough.
Aylko was started by business owners who got tired of seeing useful software broken into endless monthly charges. The company is our attempt to build a more straightforward alternative.

We did not start with a software idea.
We started with a business problem.
Before Aylko, we were already running our family business, Heavenly Gems. That meant dealing with the same mix of ecommerce, customer management, email, accounting, workflow and reporting tools that thousands of other small businesses deal with.
Individually, the monthly charges can look harmless. Together, they can become a serious overhead.
Aylko exists because we believe useful technology can be premium without automatically becoming another permanent subscription.
The software stack gets expensive one small fee at a time.
It is rarely one huge cost. It is the accumulation of platforms, apps and extras that slowly becomes another monthly bill the business has to carry.
The public storefront, hosting, themes and supporting apps.
Customers, orders, stages, team access and reporting.
Records, reports, accountant collaboration and year end work.
Email, integrations, automation and the little tools that keep adding up.
Build the useful part. Remove the unnecessary rent.
We are not pretending every technology cost can disappear. Hosting, external services, payment providers and genuinely ongoing support all have real costs.
Our principle is narrower and simpler: when an Aylko product can reasonably be sold once, we want to explore selling it once.
Not everything needs to be a subscription.
If a product can reasonably be sold once, the customer should have a route to buy it once. When something genuinely requires ongoing work or external infrastructure, the recurring cost should be explicit, understandable and tied to something real.
Premium does not mean complicated.
The ambition is to make the company feel polished and serious without losing the practical thinking that created it.
Ownership first
Customers should understand what belongs to them, what belongs to a third party and what they keep if a service ends.
Useful over fashionable
Features should solve operational problems instead of existing just to make a comparison table longer.
Clear commercial terms
A single payment where the model allows it. Ongoing where there is genuinely ongoing delivery. No deliberate ambiguity.
Design matters
Small businesses should not have to choose between practical software and something that looks premium.
Security by design
Access, permissions and data handling should be considered as core product work rather than an afterthought.
Grow deliberately
CRM first. Accounting next. Additional products only where there is a real business problem worth solving.
Aylko is intended to become a connected suite, not a single product company.
Premium websites + Aylko CRM
The public business presence and the operational customer/order workflow behind it.
Simpler accounting software
A product currently in development, planned around clear records, accountant access and a workflow that prepares records for filing without an unnecessary monthly Aylko licence.
More practical business tools
Only where they fit the same ownership principle and solve a problem we can explain in plain English.
Build technology people are happy to pay for without making them pay forever.
